Interested in Advocacy But Don’t Know Where to Start?

Joining the IDSA and HIVMA Member Advocacy Program is the most important first step in becoming an advocate!

The Member Advocacy Program (MAP) is a quick and easy way for IDSA and HIVMA members to stay up to date on federal infectious diseases policy as well as be the first to act on legislative items that directly affect members.

advocacy.jpgMAP members get access to the following benefits:

• A monthly Advocacy Bulletin, delivered right to your inbox. The Bulletin highlights important policy news, in-depth analysis, and advocacy initiatives you can take part in.
• Invitations to events and webinars to help you hone your advocacy skills.
• Opportunities to share your story with members of Congress as well as in IDSA and HIVMA media publications.
• A robust network of the best and brightest in your field with a wide range of experience in advocacy.

You don’t have to be a seasoned advocate to get involved in the MAP! Contact Lisa Cox, IDSA Director of Government Relations at lcox@idsociety.org, or George Fistonich, HIVMA Senior Policy and Advocacy Manager at gfistonich@hivma.org, to sign up.
