Increasing Engagement with Advanced Practice Providers

In recognition of the important and growing role that Advanced Practice Providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) play in infectious diseases and HIV, IDSA and HIVMA are exploring opportunities to increase our support of APPs. We recently launched a new community forum on MyIDSA for APP members to network and collaborate with each other and with others in the ID and HIV community. We will also be hosting an APP networking reception at IDWeek 2018.

To expand our reach, we are making a special offer to invite APPs who are not currently IDSA and HIVMA members to join the new APP community forum on MyIDSA through the end of 2018. During this time, IDSA and HIVMA will be evaluating additional strategies to enhance engagement of APPs in IDSA and HIVMA.

Please share this opportunity with APPs working in ID and HIV at your practice or institution and let them know that they can register for the community forum by completing this registration form. By registering for the forum, APPs will be able to participate in the new MyIDSA APP community forum but will not receive any additional member benefits.
