Purpose
To design and deliver training content for the IDSA Leadership Institute.
Responsibilities
Revise IDSA Leadership Institute goals and objectives.
Design IDSA Leadership Institute schedule and curriculum with IDSA Staff.
Evaluate and conduct peer reviews of content drafted and completed by other work group members.
Serve as faculty at the IDSA Leadership Institute and in post-Institute trainings.
Ideal Qualifications
Members should hold a leadership position within their place of employment and have experience in leadership development, education, professional coaching, and/or mentoring.

Composition
Members shall include a Chair, Vice Chair and up to 6 additional members including clinicians, researchers and public health practitioners.
Meeting Frequency
One in person meeting at IDWeek. Teleconferences to be held monthly. Committee members will be asked to respond to email communications on a regular or as needed basis. Ad hoc meetings may be scheduled as content development progresses.
Estimated Time Commitment
Time commitment will vary depending on curriculum development status with a target average of 4 to 8 hours per month.
Method of Appointment
The members shall be invited by the IDSA Meetings and Education Department with input from the CEO and current work group chair.
Term of Office
The Chair and Vice Chair shall serve for two years. Reappointment for one additional, consecutive, one-year term is permissible. Members shall serve three-year terms.
