Purpose
To plan a successful Clinical Fellows Meeting
Responsibilities
Oversee the meeting to include program development and speaker selection.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience in clinical practice
- Deep interest in mentorship of Fellows
- Experience in planning programs directed at Fellows
- Attendance at a previous Clinical Fellows Meeting as a fellow and/or faculty member
Number of Members
Six members
Composition
Voting Members shall include a Chair, Vice Chair, Clinical Affairs Committee Chair, Early Career (out of fellowship less than three years), ID Training Program Director and a member at large. The Clinical Affairs Committee Board Liaison shall serve as a non-voting member.
Meeting Frequency
Meetings to be held as needed, by teleconference or in-person, for a total of 3-4 meetings per year. Committee members will be asked to respond to email communications on a regular or as needed basis to provide input on program development. Committee members are required to attend the Clinical Fellows Meeting (currently a 2 ½ day event in April).
Estimated Time Commitment
Planning begins in October and runs through April. 1-2 hours per month.
Term of Office
The Chair and Vice Chair shall serve for two years. Reappointment for one additional, consecutive, one-year term is permissible. ID Training Program Director, Early Career and the member at large shall serve three-year terms. The CAC Chair shall serve concurrent with their committee term.
