Medical Writer for IDSA Research Summit

A medical writer is needed to attend the IDSA Research Summit (October 29-30, 2019) in Washington, DC and write a whitepaper that captures the viral respiratory disease recommendations developed from the meeting, in addition to providing sufficient background on why efforts are desperately needed to promote antimicrobial stewardship in ambulatory care settings.  The whitepaper is expected to be published in one of the Society's journals in 2020.  Support and input to the whitepaper will be provided by IDSA subject matter experts (volunteers and staff).

Qualifications

1. Excellent writing skills
2. Interest in viral respiratory disease
3. Ability to meet deadlines

The medical writer will be paid a stipend and reimbursed for travel expenses to attend the Summit.

This opportunity is open to all IDSA members but special consideration will be given to fellows-in-training and early career professionals.
