In the present situation, there are many medical schools and universities in the Philippines that offer MBBS degrees for Indian pupils. The primary objective of these medical schools and universities would be to equip their colleagues with the latest tools and techniques in medicine so they can contribute to the medical care system of the Philippines. The Health Care schools and universities are accredited by global medical institutions such as the Royal College of Psychiatrists of India and also the Royal College of Pediatrics of India. The medical colleges and universities like the Asian Medical University, the Diosdado Macapagal International University and the St. John's University are significantly acknowledged and are among the top rated medical associations in the country. In reality, lots of foreign students enrol themselves in such healthcare colleges and universities for an MBBS degree.

The Medical Council of India is in charge of the certification of all degree courses and programs. Anyway, the Medical Council of India also accredits the medical colleges and universities in the nation. The principal aim of the Medical Council of India would be to make sure that the education provided to the trainees and graduate students can be in accordance with the international standards and guidelines on quality health care.
